Victor had been in the hospital for two days now, though he had spent most of the time sleeping. When he was awake, he had refused to allow any visitors. His fiance had just beaten the shit out of him and he had broken up with her. Everything hurt too much to deal with people. He had broken ribs and a cast on his broken arm. His face was a mess of bruises and cuts and there was a bandage around his head thanks to the wound he had when Sil had slammed his skull into the floor. It was hard to even see since his eyes were mostly swollen shut. It hurt to breathe and in the wake of his breakup, he wondered if he should bother.
When he woke up on the second day, he informed the nurses he would accept visitors. He couldn't hid from the people who cared for him forever, nor should he. He just didn't know what to say to them. He felt so stupid.
