She set her hand on his shoulder, because she wasn't cruel. She said nothing of his lack of leaving things unfinished, just smiled and let him talk. "He's buried in the Valley. It's a bit of a journey. Let's get you situated first."
She let him eat and set her hands on her lap. "I can help you if you like. Until you get on your feet. I can get you caught up too." She figured there was probably no one who knew better. "When we go to the Valley, we'll need to be careful. The Gods here aren't too fond of us Geeks for usurping so many of their domains." She couldn't blame them really. "As long as we give them their dues we'll be alright." She gave him another smile. "Just use it well. My Uncle isn't fond of wasted efforts. And it's summer so he'll be grouchy for a while."
