Clio was happy in Alexandria. She'd made herself a little home here, and often visited the Library. Her Library, really, even though it also belonged to the people. But she'd thought of it, and whispered it into the ears of the ones who had needed to hear it.
That was a Muse's prerogative, and she could wander freely in Alexandria. It was the only place in Egypt she could go, and that was a little sad, but she enjoyed it. The warm sun always felt nice against her skin.
It was then she spotted the figure and she could tell who it was from here. She'd paid close attention to his life, and then his legacy. She preserved it and made sure it was written about and now he was here.
And very, very, lost.
Smiling she turned and let herself be visible. She walked beside Alexander and gave him a curious glance. "You don't fit in at all Alexander." She smiled and took his arm to guide him aside."You can trust me. I know you." Muses couldn't be seen by mortals, but now he wasn't mortal anymore. "And you know me as Clio. I made sure your legacy was made history." Not that it had been a hard task. His name had endured without hardly any help on her account. "How long have you been wandering?"
